Media Walls
What we build: Pearwood creates bespoke media walls for period flats, new-build living rooms and office reception areas. Typical features include recessed or flush-mounted TV niches, speaker bays with isolation channels, ventilated equipment racks with slide-out shelves, concealed cable trunking, IR pass-throughs and access panels for future upgrades. We work in solid oak, walnut, painted MDF, veneered plywood or spray-finished panels to match existing joinery and skirting profiles.
Technical detail and service: Our designs account for kit heat load and service access — ventilation grilles, perforated back panels or active cooling where needed. We provide shop drawings showing cable runs, conduit positions and power requirements, and coordinate electricians or AV installers so the cabinetry integrates seamlessly with your HDMI matrix, soundbar, on-wall speakers or hidden subs. All installations come with clear handover documentation and a written workmanship guarantee supplied with your quote.

How It Works
Site Survey & AV Brief
We visit with tape and spirit level, record sight-lines, screen size, speaker positions and equipment list, and advise on ventilation, power and speaker bays.
Design & Approval
Detailed shop drawings, finish samples and cable routing diagrams are issued for approval; we coordinate electricians or AV installers before manufacture.
Manufacture, Install & Commission
Made-to-measure cabinetry is factory‑built, finished and fitted on site with protective coverings, equipment racking, cable management and final tuning.

Frequently Asked Questions
From initial survey to finished installation, typical lead time is three to six weeks depending on complexity and material finish. Heritage or listed properties and projects requiring bespoke metalwork or active cooling may extend the schedule; we confirm timing in the quotation.
