— ABOUT US
Supply, Fit — or Both
Whether you need bespoke joinery manufactured and delivered, a supply-and-fit package, or a full refurbishment managed from first sketch to final finish — we tailor the service to suit your project. Bring your own materials or let us source everything; either way, the craftsmanship stays the same.
Every Pearwood project is personally overseen by owner Mark Crosby. We deliberately limit the number of jobs we take on at any one time so yours gets proper attention — not a rushed visit squeezed between six other commitments. That's how we keep quality high, timelines honest and budgets where they should be.
— Your project starts with a conversation.
Step 1 — We Listen
Every job begins with a face-to-face meeting at your property. We take the time to understand what you need, what you'd like to spend and when you need it finished — no pressure, just an honest chat about what's possible.
— Shaped around the way you live or work.
Step 2 — We Design
With your brief locked in, our in-house architect and structural engineer draw up a design that balances what you want with what the building allows. Period details, modern layouts, structural alterations, storage solutions — whatever the space calls for, we work it through with you until it feels right. No need to source your own architect or chase separate consultants; it's all under one roof.
— Clear pricing. No surprises.
Step 3 — We Quote
You receive a fixed-price written quotation that covers every element of the job — materials, labour, timescales. We break it down plainly so you know exactly where your money goes before any work begins.
— Built by hand in our joinery workshop.
Step 4 — We Make
Bespoke timberwork is manufactured in-house — staircases, sash windows, cabinetry, fitted units — using traditional techniques alongside precision machinery. Every piece is made to measure for your project, not pulled off a shelf.
— Delivered and fitted by the team that built it.
Step 5 — We Install
The same tradespeople who made your joinery are the ones who install it on-site. Our qualified electricians, gas engineers, plasterers and painters and decorators handle every element of the fit-out, so the whole job runs under one point of contact — on time and on budget.
— Every detail, right to the last.
Step 6 — We Finish
Final snagging, finishing touches, a thorough clean-down and a walk-through with you to make sure everything meets the standard you expected. We don't leave until you're happy.

— WHY CHOOSE US
Why Choose Us
Master Craftsman, Personally on the Job
Owner Mark Crosby trained at a specialist trade college in shop fitting before earning Advanced City & Guilds in joinery, Part P electrical and plumbing certifications. He has worked on complex projects across ten countries and personally oversees every Pearwood job — he doesn't delegate that responsibility.
Trusted on High-Profile and Security-Sensitive Sites
Mark and his team have carried out works for the UK government, including Downing Street and properties within the Royal Household — environments where flawless execution, reliable timekeeping and zero margin for error are baseline requirements. That same discipline underpins every job we take on, from a kitchen refit in Surbiton to a commercial strip-out in central London. References are available on request
Quality Over Volume
We deliberately take on fewer projects so every one gets the attention it deserves. That means on-site oversight from Mark, not a project manager you've never met. High-quality execution, on time and on budget — not because it's a tagline, but because limiting our workload is the only way to guarantee it.
Design to Installation — Single Point of Responsibility
Our in-house architect and structural engineer take your project from concept drawings and planning submissions through to structural calculations and building regulations sign-off. Our qualified electricians, gas engineers, plasterers and painters and decorators handle every element of the build. One contract, complete project control, clear timescales.
Respectful, Vetted Team
DBS checked, CSCS carded tradespeople who treat homes with care — protective coverings, dust control and considerate working practices as standard.
Traditional Techniques, Modern Standards
From cut-pitch roofing and sash window repairs to precision CNC-cut joinery, we blend hand skills with up-to-date building regs and CSCS site practice.
— ABOUT US
One Team. No Gaps. No Handoffs.
Most building projects mean juggling separate architects, engineers and a string of subcontractors — each with their own schedule, their own standards and their own invoice. We do things differently.
One team means one standard, one schedule and one person to call. Your project moves from architecture to completion without changing hands — and nothing falls between the cracks.
Pearwood keeps every discipline in-house, from the drawing board to the finishing coat. Our team includes:
- Architect — concept designs, planning drawings and building regulations submissions
- Structural engineer — load calculations, steelwork specifications and sign-off
- Skilled joiners and carpenters — bespoke manufacturing and precision installation
- Qualified electricians — full rewires, lighting design and certification
- Gas Safe registered engineers — heating, boiler installation and gas works
- Plasterers — traditional wet plaster, skimming and period detailing
- Painters and decorators — preparation, priming and final finishes
